I mean, they were bringing people to our house.
We were living with random people.
either cousin from a friend up north or someone that they found on the street, you know, like they're just looking after everybody.
And the way that they ran the household was they ran it very strict.
Like we as kids, my auntie would say to look after us, we were like a little army.
You know, they say 8.30 bedtime and off we would go.
You know, like we just, there was no chit-chatter, back chat, none of that.
Um, we knew like we were run kind of like an army would come home, immediately chores, house is spotless.
I mean, six kids, you know, you can imagine that the house should be messy at some point, but it was never, our house was never messy because we knew that what we had to do, you know, very strict regimen.
And maybe that was even a good thing now that I think about it.
Just having that kind of like routine, you know your place, you know what you have to do.
So there's that sense of belonging to this like machine, you know, that is a family unit also.

I mean, you know, the way that we were raised is like we'd bring up mum.
We used to have this phone, this fancy phone, because mum always had the youth centre so she got all the mod cons and it had like a little red speaker button.
So if we ever wanted to like tell on our brother for treating us badly, we'd ring her and put it on speaker.
She'd be like, get him to the phone, you know, and then he'd have to stand there while she's like, leave those girls alone, you know.
But, yeah, but we've never really had it out with β I don't think we will at this stage, to be honest.
