Because you're either really rich and you can have all that.
Or you aren't and you're constantly unhappy.
You feel like everything is settling.
But life doesn't have to be about settling.
That's the thing.
It paralyzes the action.
Because there's only a few select that can be in certain ways.
because of affluence, right?
And then the rest of them are all feeling miserable because they're always, you know, pining and they're settling.
Think about that on a mass cultural level.
If your whole life is centered around pining or settling, you can see why people go, well, I'm not going to change my mind on this.
It's as if this internal cry within them is saying, for once, I'm going to get what I want.
Because they're living in scarcity.
And they'd been exposed to more.
