The Supreme Court has struck down President Trump's global tariffs policy under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, directly rebuking a central part of Trump's trade agenda.

Today's decision centers on while fluctuations of tariffs imposed on countries around the world, the practice roiled U.S.

businesses and prompted groups to legally challenge the tariffs under an emergency powers law as an overreach of presidential authority.

Diane Swank, an economic advisor and chief economist at KPMG, says the ruling does not necessarily mean the end of Trump's tariffs.

We expect an executive order using other levers that the White House has that it can raise tariffs to reinstate any.
