Cranston is gifted with the hypnotic power to cloud men's minds so that they cannot see him.

This hypnotic power is the result of years of research in the mystical origins.

The Shadow does not bear a charmed life.

Yet he defies death in all its forms to aid mankind.

Cranston's friend and companion, the lovely Margo Lane, is the only person who knows to whom the voice of the shadow belongs.
