The interesting part for me is the human element, right? Like we've both been there. The definition of courage I've heard is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway, right? And so there have been times where every player senses it. I feel it. You felt it. Where you're just scared to death of a moment. And sometimes you crumble in that moment. Sometimes you... you prosper.

But this is an interesting one because Erlen Haaland for me is superhuman. He showed to be superhuman. He showed that the only thing that matters to him in his life is scoring goals, right? We've seen that because he'll be on a brace, right? With 30 minutes left in the game and Pep takes him off. We've seen this a bunch of times and he's pissed off and he's angry.

By the way, his team's up like five nil and he scored two of those, right? So we know that scoring is important to him. So in this moment, this pivotal critical moment, I'm thinking this guy's superhuman. Give me the ball because why do I do best? And in that moment, he handed it off. So I can only think there had to have been doubt because this isn't a guy.

He's not an all shucks nice guy, by the way. He's not like, no, this is my mate. I want to endear him to the team. We just bought him from German football a couple months ago. I want him to have this limelight. That never went through his mind. Never. He's a dog, and he's nasty, and he wants that moment, and he passed it up. So there's something in that for me.

The penalty decision, I mean, depending on if you're a Palace fan or you're a City fan, you'd tell me to go F off because I could argue both sides of this.

Yeah, yeah. I mean, whether the Dean Henderson penalty red card, denial of an obvious goal scoring opportunity versus not so obvious, I could argue both sides, but ultimately... It went for Palace, and sometimes you need that when it comes to history and things being on your side.
