We can celebrate when it's all over.
But at the moment, this journey is only half done.
Please, give the players space to continue their journey that we're aiming for.
Remember, that flip chart that Liam Griffin would have had on the board of Ferry Carrick, that last page, the last page that he had on that before we left the dressing room was All Ireland Winners 96.
Liam Griffin retires.
That was in 95 when he had that print.
That was the last piece of writing on the chartboard.
And we looked at one another and I said to Liam Dunne, that man is crazy.
How do he think we're going to win this?
And it's all in the proof down of what he had done through the two or three years that he was in charge.
we were probably a bit lucky.
I think that self-belief, the teamwork and, of course, work rate got us through that game.
It wasn't the greatest game of all.
Offaly had, or Galway had missed a couple of goal chances.
They missed a pelty, Liam Dunn saved a pelty.
So, we got a little bit of luck on the day but,
We got through it and that's what Liam Griffin was most happy with.
You don't have to play well once you win.
Once you win, it means everything.
But as you say, we got through that and then we went back and it was probably going to be the biggest focus that we ever had in our life was to get players back down to earth because we're playing an All-Ireland Final in three or four weeks' time.
