These are guys that know how to kind of bring up that talent in a way that makes sense.
That is exponentially more difficult in New York, where you are not insulated from the slings and arrows with just like, oh, he's just a kid.
It's just like, well, your kid is hitting like a buck 25, so we don't care.
So that's one of those things.
It's going to be interesting.
I
I don't necessarily know how long of a leash.
You know, we talk about David Stearns.
I think David Stearns is a way longer leash than Carlos Mendoza has.
And I don't necessarily know that that's fair.
So that's going to be something, because while Carlos Mendoza I'm sure had a hand in picking his coaching staff, I don't necessarily think he had a hand in firing his old coaching staff or the entirety of it.
Because these were all people that they actually meshed pretty well, even though Mendoza actually did inherit a bunch of these guys.
So this is going to be a situation where the first few months, a lot of this is going to fall on Carlos Mendoza.
And then a lot of it's going to fall on.
I know Justin Willard, he's very much like a Jeremy Hefner type.
So there's a lot of similarities there in terms of guys who are like into analytics.
So that might work out well.
And then, yeah, you got Jeff Albert, who's the director of player development.
All these guys, you have all these guys.
And that is the one thing that I have heard is that the Mets have this like preponderance of coaches.
