And this follows its solid March quarter update yesterday with the company posting record net cash flow and also said its flagship mine reached target production rates earlier than expected.
So that's always good news when they are kicking goals earlier than expected.
Today, we also had Harvey Norman paying out its dividends.
So if you were one of those lucky eligible shareholders, you might have received a payment today.
Now looking ahead to tonight, US futures are pointing to a very small improvement when the market does open up.
Of course, as I mentioned, it did hit a record high last night, but still looking like it might push a little bit higher tonight.
Plenty of time for
Things to change between now and then.
We do get more company earnings out of the United States tonight, not the big names like we have been seeing.
Of course, we had four of the magnificent seven out with earnings results.
I will quickly touch on Apple's results because their shares are up 2% in after hours trade.
And that was after providing a strong forecast for the quarter ahead.
It also topped earnings and revenue estimates, helped by strong demand for its iPhones and also Mac computers.
So that's the last of the Magnificent Seven to post earnings results until NVIDIA.
So they'll be the last one out.
