And what else should investors be watching this week?

Well, Stevie, would you believe it?
We've actually flipped into positive territory just to almost end the day because for most of the session we were in negative territory.
This morning we were down by roughly a third of 1%.
Then we were treading water for some of the afternoon and we're up by just six points, less than a tenth of 1%, but it's better than a negative start to the week.

Yeah, things were looking pretty good in terms of the news headlines on early Saturday morning, but that all changed fairly quickly and there seems to have been quite the escalation over the past couple of days.
So the latest news is that some very important people from the United States will be heading to Pakistan to recommence those peace talks, but the news headlines are saying that Iran won't show up for those talks.
So we'll have to wait and see what happens.
They slumped as much as 10%, and as you said, bounced back by around 7%.
So that's led to a little bit of confusion on the local share market today.
So we have seen energy stocks actually down by around the 3% mark, despite that jump in oil prices.
So we have seen many stocks within the oil space really weighing down.
So Woodside, many of the coal miners as well, Whitehaven and New Hope, they're dragging down.
that sector down.
Also, Viva Energy, which has come back online today.
We'll talk about that just shortly.
But across the other sectors, it's been a fairly mixed bag.
We're seeing the materials sector not doing too much.
