And I always think because there's a few times where they, sometimes it just, this movie feels like a paint by numbers cutesy rom-com.
Which I was kind of okay with because that's what I thought I was watching.
And then every so often it becomes this kind of like over the top,
kind of grossed out absurdist comedy in a way like that space but it only ever kind of inches towards that and then jumps back and I was like Brett if you're gonna go there go there yeah like feels like that's his sense of humor that he kind of dropped in and the rest of the time he was like no no you're writing a rom-com you're writing a rom-com yeah and I was like just go the way you want to go like JLo is fine with it and that's like such a British type of humor yeah as well and like you see everything
You see everything.
He's just, like, so upset.
She's upset.
She's like, both of you leave.
Yeah.
And the best, the most important moment of this whole scene is, like, I've never seen a movie encapsulate what it's like to just be so horrified by something.
Yeah.
Because it's him in the office.
It's like, oh, my God.
And then it flashes him in bed that night just lying down.
He's like, oh, my God.
He's like, ah.
And I was like, that is what happens when something truly embarrassing happens to you.
