There was a firehouse nearby with EMS technicians, and maybe they could have revived him or tried to.

Perhaps, possibly, but when it comes to saving somebody's life, do you really think of a fire department?

If he was lifeless when she pulled him from the water, you can't waste all that time driving when you could be doing resuscitation.

And she said, I want to take Laura Day and David Searing to the main station, and I want to interview them.

And I said, if you have a bad feeling, then do what you need to do.

I still remember that drive.
