I see a lot of people using, whenever we were doing like inspections, I'd be like, they're using the drying rack wrong.
Like I can't touch their clothes.
I really want to like send them an email being like, space this out.
Like certain fibers should be at the top.
Polyester, synthetics, all that will dry way quicker.
Put them in the damper parts of your drying racks.
Put your cottons and denser fabrics and more natural fibers on top.
Heated drying racks are good.
But again, you have to be tackling the moisture in your home.
Even if you're drying in like I'm in an open kitchen living room here, I'll put on my cooker extractor when I'm drying clothes in here.
You have to remove the moisture from the air.
I love it because if you live in a new build, what they'll usually do is there's a brains cupboard that has your boiler.
a lot of the electrics and they'll usually throw the washing machine in there because there's wires inside it can be hooked up to electricity but that is gets really really hot and a lot of times ventilation systems are set up to take air from that room and put it into other cooler rooms so that is basically sucking air out of it the whole time but tension rods are amazing like a friend of mine I was showing her before I'd done the video she was the one that convinced me to do the video and I was showing her I did tension rods she's like I have a really sunny window she literally put tension rods on her window we'll just dry stuff in like half an hour
And I also got a, which I would actually recommend if you have outdoor space in the new place, I got a retractable clothesline for my balcony because you're not allowed to dry clothes like permanently.
It's fire hazard or whatever, but you can put it up for a couple of hours and I just pull it out attached to the other side and I can dry all my sheets really quickly.
It's so handy.
It's literally airflow.
Because a lot of times in your granny's era, there would have been a lot more natural fibers.
So you're basically natural fibers.
They're porous.
