Or this is serving a really practical purpose.
You know, like if it's something for a practical reason, if it sell it, like if, if the money is the reason you're hanging onto it, then money will be the reason you let go of it.
Like if Garment Goddess is a section on like how to sell really well, how to set up a good online ad, or if it's something like a suit and you're like that, you know, it's a really well-made suit, but it doesn't fit you anymore.
women's shelters will bite your hand off for a suit that someone can go to an interview in yeah and something that is barely worn is what they will accept they will not accept old stuff at women's shelters this is about dignity for people absolutely are going through such you know a hard time already so I think if you have stuff that's really good condition it doesn't make you feel good but it's a it's a value thing the most valuable thing you can do with it is give it to somebody in need or if it's a
flow thing you can just sell it and I think as well when you're going through stuff if there is something that's like a terrible condition but you reach for it time and time again sit with it why are you reaching for it is it the silhouette is it how it feels is it how it looks on you and the next time you're shopping when you want to get a shopping buzz because it's just a thing with humans like new things make us feel better yeah
Think about that garment and try and replace her.
And also type the description into Google, round neck black t-shirt with the turn up sleeve.
And that's how you'll find, because you've made one really good decision in your wardrobe.
Repeat it and you'll start to feel better rather than buying kind of unknown.
performance wear or something I don't I don't know if I do I do boxing but like isn't you wear whatever you want for that but like yeah some kind of performance where I don't know like a team sport that you have to be kitted out for like is it serving a practical purpose there like it's going to need to do things for your body there as well if you have an excess of stuff what I will say is if you're like I feel neutral about all of the stuff and I want to keep it but I just have too much of it for example shirting for some reason denim and shirting are overstocks in everyone's wardrobe at times right they can because they're lovely to buy
Like they're just on the ads for like denim.
You're just like, she looks so good.
Jeans are the worst fucking thing to buy.
They're the worst.
What I can recommend though is buying men's Carhartt jeans because there's so much fabric in them and they're so easy for a tailor to tailor to your body.
So like the sizes aren't like women's sizes.
They're real sizes.
So like, you know, if you go off what it's going to be like, but they're like baggy workwear kind of carpenter jeans.
You can do a beautiful turn up at the end, but there's so much gorgeous fabric there that a tailor can easily make it to your body.
It's so good.
