Also when they're like, put a butterfly on it and make it a cold shoulder.
In my life, I have never heard somebody being like,
well, you know what, the only part of my body that is worth showing off is a cold shoulder because I'm post-size is the message that you're sending.
And it is such a fucking joke.
And also butterflies, it's like, I get it.
Like, you know what I mean?
It's nice in some circumstances, but putting it on everything, I just feel like accessibility in terms of money as well, in terms of time, where you live.
And there's a lot of people as well who are dressing a certain way
to conform in a way that makes them feel safe yeah so being able to access clothing that they can wear when they fly out of the country or wear around a certain group of people or bring in their bag and wear in a club things like that you know there's there's reasons why we can't always shop local and shop sustainable you know and it's a very privileged place to tell people that they should basically just have more money to spend on higher quality yes slowing down is stunning but like if you're somebody like one example a woman that I was helping recently on dms single mom
two kids absolutely no time and no budget with it and she's like I want to slow down to buy something but it's cold so like I need to buy a cheap jumper before I'm doing it can you just recommend a cheap jumper like what I need to find in it of course value clothing can still be sustainable because you're going to look after it oh like somebody buying three Gucci jumpers in a season is actually less sustainable but than somebody buying one Primark jumper yeah and wearing it a hundred times
And looking after it and seeing value in it and having a relationship with it.
what should we be looking for I think when we talk about composition like the whole which is I'm I personally as someone who's like worked in this for years find it really annoying that the new trend is going in and being like plastic on jumpers all over a shop floor and it's someone who doesn't know what they're talking about or why how production works or why people need why polyester a five pound jumper is on the floor because someone that's someone's budget right
So like just going in and being like, ew, look what poor people buy is that's what you're doing, right?
And like, I don't think people understand that.
And then they're calling them sustainability queens.
It really irks me because it's putting work that I do and what other people do back literally three or four years.
We had just gotten there where people who had more expertise were showing tags and teaching an audience.
And then because it started becoming popular, people have started doing it in their content.
And it's basically making people who haven't seen our videos and have seen theirs, it's just making it a bit skewed.
So I think one of the main things is,
