So after the talk, loads of them come up and they wanted to talk to me afterwards.
and about what I discussed so I discussed so my whole thing about orgasms was it isn't that orgasms are part of health even though they are they can be very good for your health but it was relating sexual health to wellness to your overall health and well-being I discussed incontinence prolapse so women were coming up to me going I've been incontinent for 15 years and I've never even told my partner I'm afraid to go to my doctor I can't believe that you discussed that so then as the talks went on as I did more and more I got a little bit bolder and bolder and the more women came up and talked to me
I started talking about really interesting, you know, I used to do demos, I'd bring out the lube, I'd bring out some dildos sometimes to show women what they could do for their health if they didn't know how to ask for the help.
And then I went home one day after one particular talk and I just said to my husband, we need to do a show, we need to do a tour around Ireland because I actually think that we need to get to more people than we currently are.
A roadshow of... It was called Viva La Volva, so...
And when I told him that, he's like, oh my God, Laura.
And even my husband, Mr. Fabulous, he goes to me, you know, like, Laura, you've gone and you've gotten a lot of ways, but like, this is probably a little bit too much.
And I just said, well, how are they going to know what I'm talking about?
I can't just call it the women's health show or hormones.
Like, that's really boring to me.
So we went ahead and did it.
We sold out in Cork, Kerry and Galway.
I didn't have to even promote it.
And then we sold out in the National Concert Hall three times over.
So then I decided I needed to write a book.
