I suppose later in life, I find it difficult to get the time to read.
So I started using Audible a while back.
But more recently, actually, I did read a book, Roots, by Alex Hanley, and I loved it.
And it made me think I need to actually get back to giving myself time to actually enjoy reading a book rather than it being...
read to me because I find sometimes the audible, you can kind of drift off a little bit.
the enormous crocodile or the twits I suppose I was a massive Roald Dahl fan yeah but the enormous crocodile I loved I just remember reading him and I've read all his books to my kids as well and they all loved it and it's just the pictures the font the way the font jumps out at you and the funny dark humour as well but even Mr. Twitch remember his beard and the bits of sardine I think I was put off men with beards as a result of reading that just as well the hipster revolution passed you by because you couldn't be very lonely I know
Yeah, so I loved his books very much.
I read them when they were very small, like when they were babies, but then I did let them find their way.
And they were avid readers as youngsters.
I think nowadays it's, you know, with phones and everything, it's difficult.
How do you force a 17-year-old to sit down and read?

I think people that loved reading as children, they inevitably find their way back when they have the time and the space.
I loved school I was a bit of a messer but I really loved school and I suppose I had a high achieving gene in me so I really wanted to do well but I also loved having the cracks so yeah I really loved school
