I met a lot of people in Israel, including officials, who have told me that this has been –

amongst the people of Israel for quite some time.

It's actually a big national debate in Israel about whether or not Israel would be better off because there's a lot of people that don't want to be handcuffed by the United States military telling them, you can't bomb the Ayatollah, you can't go into Gaza.

Well, I don't know why they would do that.

I mean, the person to go to is Prime Minister Netanyahu himself.

I mean, why wouldn't they just take it from the horse's mouth directly?

He said that this story was a lie.

I mean, that's what he said when he did this interview.

That would mean, logically speaking, that the story was made up.

Well, look, hopefully this is actually going to be able to be implemented.

It's going to obviously take...

some time to implement this policy.

I don't think it's going to happen overnight, but hopefully there can be this discussion so that by the end, at least, of the end of the Trump administration over these next three years, we can see an end of aid to Israel.

I don't think it's going to be immediate.

I think that you would probably agree with me.

It's going to take some time to figure out how this is going to work exactly.

But ultimately, I think that the United States of America will be better off and Israel will be better off.

And I don't think that we're going to be necessarily financially better off because we're going to be forfeiting the $48 billion that we get on this return for our investment in Israel.

But clearly, the issue of giving aid to Israel has been the center of a lot of

political tension and conflict in our own country.
