Starmer's the first U.K.

leader to visit China in eight years.

After Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney visited China, President Trump threatened 100% tariffs against Canadian goods and predicted that China would, quote, eat Canada alive.

This is the first visit to China by a British prime minister in eight years.

Starmer is bringing a plane load of British CEOs with him.

As he reduces dependence on the U.S., he's seeking to woo investment instead from the world's second largest economy, China.

This pact signed in Germany will create a new fleet of offshore wind projects in the North Sea, adding 100 gigawatts of clean energy.

government announced another $27 million in funds to repair Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
