No, you're good.
Last time they took a pass rusher, 2016.
So here's the thing.
If I were to get focused on an edge rusher at 25, what am I looking at?
Conceptually, Alex Kuhn, as you've been diving into the tape, much to the annoyance of your girlfriend...
What are your thoughts on edge rushers who might be at 25?
Well, luckily I had about six hours of flights the last four days to catch up on the edge rusher position.
You're looking at a lot of guys with flaws.
You're not judging based on who has the least amount of flaws.
You're judging based on which profile are you most willing to take a chance on at pick 25.
And that's kind of the, to get back to your point, Speaks, the idea of if you are at a position of need, do you take risk inside of the position of need?
Do you take the steadiest guy or do you take the guy with upside?
Now, I feel like, and it's a very short draft profile that has been built by Ben Johnson plus Ryan Poles.
I feel like early on, they might take risk on the guy with the most upside at the position of need, even though they have said they are on the record and have said, we are going to draft the best player available.
The best player available allows for them to take risk, too.
As a statement, it allows for them to be like, no, no, no, that guy is really, really good.
We don't care that he's a wide receiver.
Yeah, I mean, God, wide receiver would be freaky.
I'd be fine with it.
I would not.
