Because it's only 2-1 and you're at home.
And as we said, you made a new prospect look like all-world.
Gage Jump looked like he just went out there and absolutely handed it to the Cubs.
That was...
ridiculous he wasn't the only one then we see the Cubs go several innings without even getting a single hit and speaking of singles that's what they had to deal with and as usual they had issues with runners in scoring position it came down to Alex Bregman just looked at a breaking ball in the ninth inning yeah it was it was same song different verse two to one bleh
But you're always close to a win at 2-1.
There's that.
Yes.
Yeah.
Okay, so after giving this some thought, you know, because we talked about this backstage, if you will, I'm not going to be mad at a guy for utilizing his time to shine and gauge jump.
Okay, so that takes that out of the equation, even though I hate that it was against the Cubs.
Then I'm going to think about the fact that the Cubs went several innings without having a single hit to speak of.
So...
That was equally as frustrating when you think about the third, the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, the seventh, and the eighth innings not having that.
That was not great.
But I think it was the fact that you had a great start from Jamison Tyo where he seemed to right his ship, giving up the one solo home run, gave up both earned runs of the game, but only the one solo shot, and only had one walk and had six strikeouts.
I feel like he actually took a step in the right direction.
And to waste that start with just absolutely no offensive support yet again at home against the A's, you want to stop the home losing streak as much as any other unfortunate stat for your team.
You want to come back home and get a win to start a homestand.
And that is not what happened.
