We have far underestimated what the Milwaukee Brewers are capable of, whether they have their superstars or they don't have their superstars.
They have made prudent and shrewd moves to keep the pressure on the Cubs and to stay, frankly, on top of the Cubs regular season, postseason.
Yes, Jackson Trurio being on the injured list is a big deal, but it's not a big enough deal for me to be like, oh, division's wrapped up, everything's good now.
First of all, we know this is temporary, but second of all, we know that they have the types of players and the types of leaders in their organization, whether it's front office, whether it's the manager, that they're going to have their team ready to play day in, day out, and be one of the better teams in the National League.
And don't forget about the Cincinnati Reds.
For real, don't forget about the Pittsburgh Pirates either.
These are all up-and-coming teams.
Now, I'm not saying they're going to be better than the Brewers or the Cubs, but I think they're going to take a chunk of the wins away from the division that make it, hey, Cubs run away.
