I would probably say they're like a three and a half siren team.
So I'll go for it with Tass here.
Okay, there's been a lot of talk recently about this whole 40-20 mark, right?
The Phil Jackson rule, get to 40 wins before 20 losses.
So if you looked at just this season, it's the Thunder, the Spurs, and the Pistons.
I bring that up, the Celtics would be a team that just came short of that mark.
Only four teams have won the title since 1980 without reaching that mystical 40-20 mark.
The 95 Rockets, the 04 Pistons, the 06 Heat, and the 21 Bucks.
What's interesting about those four teams is like,
they represent like an outlier for a lot of them when you go through them.
The 95 Rockets were the defending champs, and then they added Clyde Drexler in a mid-season trade.
The 04 Pistons, they were a good team, but they added Rasheed Wallace at the trade deadline.
The 06 Heat, a little different.
They had like a hot streak from an emerging superstar in D. Wade.
At the exact moment the Lakers were sort of falling apart because they just traded Shaquille O'Neal to the Miami Heat.
And then finally, the 21 bucks.
It's the second year of the COVID summer, so it was just sort of an odd one.
Paul Flannery made note, though, the Celtics could be the fifth team that would make sense as an outlier if you added Jason Tatum.
