I remember being at Moon Tower Comedy Festival late at night and seeing a comic walk in who I was happy for, who'd had some success.

And I was like, oh, my God.

Like, I hadn't seen him since he'd risen up higher.

And I was like, we were, like, late at night in the lobby eating, like, you know, like, trashy burritos.

I was like, oh, my God.

So, like, congrats.

He was like, Emmy.

Like, what?

He was like, I want an Emmy.

It was just the two of us.

Can I say, when I first met you at Flappers, and years ago, and I remember sitting, and again, a lot of male comics,

have a different kind of interaction, you know?

Like, there's a certain vibe.

And your humanity and your heart, like, we had such a nice chat, and you were talking about, your back was in pain, and you were touring to go do some, like, corporates, and, like, you were talking about Leanne to me.

But we just had, like, this really, like, open, it really stood out in a world of, like,

comics of like, and I always liked you after that.

And so I was so excited when the audition came in, I always had a very big soft spot for like a really human interaction that wasn't posturing and was speaking so well of you and like, that that was like, I was like, oh, I want to go play with Bert and like,

Bert was always like, where's Leanne?
