So deposit some money into the platform and make an amount of money that people are comfortable with, you know, and as soon as it's there, invest it into something.

And there's lots of options.

Choose a company, choose a fund, it doesn't matter.

But if you do that, getting over that hurdle just increases your chances of becoming an investor over time so much more.

I think it sounds really simple, but it's true, is that overthinking becomes the enemy.

And...

uh action is the antidote to anxiety yeah yeah yeah you read the same stuff yeah um but that's right that uh taking action on it so uh it you know it shows just through the data as well and it's the same things for it's no different with money than what it is in any other aspects of our life

And the other thing that people can do,

right off the bat is take that action to set something up automatic so you don't have to come back and rethink about it or overthink it again and you can use like an advised portfolio so that means you know someone is looking over it we are looking over it and then you'll get information when you need it but that was like just that building confidence is

is great, and as that confidence comes, act on it.

Yeah, so it's an option in the product that's about to be released, so it's just in a closed beta, so only a few people have it at the moment, but you'll go in there, it'll say get advice, you'll be asked about five or six questions, and it'll recommend a portfolio for you.

It'll tell you what's in that portfolio, you can change it a little bit if you like, but

If you don't want to, you can just start.

Look, the size of the portfolio changes.

makes almost no difference on how people behave.

One thing I know from speaking to people with a lot of money on there is the way they think about it is way less about what the company is worth at any given time or the fund is worth at any given time and way more about just the number of something they hold.

So like I now own 10,000 Meridian shares or something like that.

And

then the question becomes, or 10,000 units in a generate fund, or whatever that is.
