We have heard all of that.

But at the same time, yes, I do agree with everybody.

It is a wake-up call.

We've got to get an update on Jamison Tyo now because of the hamstring injury.

We hope to get that ahead of this series against the Rockies.

But in the meantime, there's only so many times where you can say it and you're not showing it against the best opportunities that are in front of you.

And I keep thinking about that September 2023 where...

The Cubs had this beautiful schedule after they had taken down a good Giants team at the time on Labor Day weekend.

And you got to face a team like the Pirates, which weren't as good at the time.

And you got to face the Rockies twice.

And then you had to face a Braves team that certainly didn't look like the world beaters Atlanta is on the tear of right now.

And they couldn't get it done then.

And that's why, with a more expensive roster, with what should be a better roster...

You go into Colorado where your offense is still hurting against a pitching staff that is not good.

And show me that at least, if nothing else, people always talk about the home runs in Colorado.
