June 1st is a target time for the Mets to either get back into the race or move the soon-to-be free agent.

Peralta and Craig Council share a mutual bond.

That would be a game-changer.

Well, and I wonder, Brett, given the connection that David Stearns is in that Mets front office as well, I wonder how much that may play a connection with Craig Council if they do want to do business.
