And the doctor gave him 15 to 20 years to live and he died in two.
And he was a biostatistician.
And so I said, oh man, that's lousy.
And he says, yeah, but somebody's got to be on the left side of the curve.

buy us that till the end gosh and and uh and i i would i was living in syracuse at the time i was teaching at syracuse university at the time and i would go back every few weeks and i got closer to my brother during those years and um and my mom was really sick i mean she was really sick and so she couldn't and um
And we talked a lot during that period.
And it was funny because he had, I think, a kind of a spiritual awakening during that time too.
He was a serious Christian guy, but I think that he drew closer to God as well.
And he was worried.
He was worried about my mom.
