Because these are easy words to say, and everybody, self-evidently, or nearly everybody, would agree with them.

a British king going over to the United States to lecture the American Congress and the American president about the excesses of executive power.
If he feels that he's in a place where... History is having a good old chuckle.
It is in a funny old place.
I mean, you know, yeah, Trump is, for all of his successes, though, at least elected, so I suppose, you know, he's got that.
I mean, the only thing I'd say is I do think that we have sort of seen this story play out before, which is that, you know, we've had 10 years now of either royal or political visits in both sides and both directions of the Atlantic.
They do tend to have... This is slightly unusual because the king has certainly decided to make some subtle rebukes at or about Trump, although...
I think that can be exaggerated to some extent.
I mean, most of it is pretty lighthearted.
Ninety five, ninety nine percent of everything he was saying was the usual kind of traditional diplomatic guff about how close, you know, we are and all those sorts of things and special relationship.
And we have seen this play out before in the sense that, you know, let's be honest.
I mean, if anyone's expecting this to make any difference to anything Trump does, it clearly won't.
