So we are seeing players not just get games in some of those aspects of teams who desperately need some bodies with injuries, but players who have come in and had an impact on teams who are winning games.
And I think Selwood is one of those.
Adams is another one, and Trenbath most certainly is.
Well, look at Newcomb.
He's captain of the team now.
And they're on their way to a deep September run again.
It is, I mean, again, there are some circumstances around some of these players getting some games, JJ, when the teams are struggling and injuries hit lists as we know they do.
But legitimately, last year's mid-season draft, again, has dished out a number of players who are playing good footy.
Fremantle have got a bunch of players who play in that team.
who are either late draft picks or a non-traditional route, and they deserve all the credit.
We see them off field, and they give their opportunities to these guys, and all of a sudden, they're staring at Premiership favourites.
