Oscar Adams has stepped straight into a team that is

You know, contending for a premiership after playing finals last year.

And Cooper Trenbath makes North Melbourne's forward line way better.

Now, Lark is a very good footballer, Paul Curtis likewise, but Trenbath rolls in there and he's somewhat the X factor of that team.

So we are seeing players not just get games in some of those aspects of teams who desperately need some bodies with injuries, but players who have come in and had an impact on teams who are winning games.

And I think Selwood is one of those.

Adams is another one, and Trenbath most certainly is.

Well, look at Newcomb.

He's captain of the team now.

And they're on their way to a deep September run again.

It is, I mean, again, there are some circumstances around some of these players getting some games, JJ, when the teams are struggling and injuries hit lists as we know they do.

But legitimately, last year's mid-season draft, again, has dished out a number of players who are playing good footy.
