And they are so beautiful.
I'm so excited.
Oh, that's a really good question.
I have always drifted towards fantasy.
So I...
Like as a kid I was β like Inkheart was probably like the most formative book.
And then as a β I suppose as a teenager I didn't read much at all.
I was reading a lot of manga and also what my parents told me like I would enjoy.
And then it was as a β it was during uni my sister gave me all of Captive Prince by C.S.
Pacat and was just like just sit down and read these.
And that kind of made me realise what books could do.
And so that really informed the books I drifted towards after that.
And so a lot of the kind of fantasy books that I'm specifically saying fantasy when I'm in a bookshop and like picking out the books I want, it's always fantasy, but I do like reading widely and reading different genres, but it tends to be like fantasies what I drift towards.
And I think what I read in that year, I got back into reading.
really set the tone.
So it was Captain Prince, it was Patrick Rothfuss, it was Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell.
And it's basically like enemies to lovers of romanticism, high fantasy with really good prose.
And whatever Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell is, like literary...
dark academia, like kind of a slog, but damn, I love it kind of book.
And I love those books that when you reread them, there's new things.
