And the level of detail you share matters.

Likely everyone out there listening, Lindsay and I as well, have been in that conversation where you ask someone what they do and they share way too much detail, everything about their job and the position.

And it's too much and it's not a back and forth.

It can be a back and forth conversation.

If the other person asks a follow-up question or genuinely seems interested, then you can share more.

So that's part of this skill as well.

Yes, exactly.

It depends on the situation.

And often the best way this can work is if it's a back and forth where you just share, you know, your role at the company and then ask them the same.

They share and then they might ask you more details about your responsibilities or what you love about it.

Then you ask them, right?

And it's a more interesting back and forth.
