So we're going to go over some sort of buckets of things you might share when you introduce yourself.
And the first one is just sharing what your role is.
Mm-hmm.
And then you fill that in with whatever company you work for.
My role at company is blank.
Right.
Or I currently serve as and then your position at company.
So I'd say I currently serve as the community manager at Allers English.
Yes.
And this might be for a bigger company, right?
Companies that have lots of different teams and departments, this might be more appropriate.
Exactly, right?
I think of for my husband, it's a much bigger company, right?
He would say, I'm part of Fountain's sales department where I work as a solutions consultant.
So for bigger companies, right, this makes sense to share like the department in the company where you work.
Or depending on who you're talking to.
Right.
If you're at an industry conference and those people really do want to know, like your actual role and the department and then they're interested.
If you're meeting a neighbor and they ask where you work, you might not share the department.
They don't care.
