Number one. Hi, FKS gang. I really need everyone's advice. I, 49 female, am embarrassed to admit this, but I don't know how to drive. I tried learning in high school, but I was terrible at it, and I have horrible driving anxiety. Just the thought of getting behind the wheel nearly sends me into a panic attack.

Up until now, I've never really had an issue with not driving, as I usually take an Uber wherever I need to go. Recently, I met a wonderful woman online, 51 female, who I am really interested in dating, and she's interested in me too. The problem is, of course, is that I don't drive.

We live about 20 minutes apart, which is fine, and I don't mind taking Ubers to meet her on dates, but she brought up recently that it bothers her that I don't drive, and it's the only issue she has with dating me.

She does have some health issues that sometimes prevent her from being able to drive, and she was worried that if we were out and about somewhere and she starts to not feel good, then I'm not going to be able to drive us anywhere and that we are going to have to sit and wait around for her to feel better. I totally understand her concerns with that.

I'm willing to learn how to drive and really tackle this issue because we really do like each other and I want to give this a shot, as does she. If facing my fears of driving is going to help, then I will definitely do that. But I had two problems. First is obviously my extreme fear of driving. It absolutely terrifies me and I don't know how to get over that.
