So Invisible Children was a nonprofit grassroots organization that existed long before Kony 2012. It was started in 2004. A big part of it... So it existed to end the kind of tagline, end the longest running conflict in Africa.

Joseph Kony was the leader of a rebel army called the Lord's Resistance Army. They were... Massive at one time. They still exist. I think they're pretty small and not much of a threat today. Joseph Kony is a very old man. He's still out there.

So Invisible Children created documentaries. Kony 2012 was actually the 10th documentary that the organization had created. A lot of people don't know that. A lot of people think that we just came out of nowhere.

And the documentary is all centered on different people who had been affected by this war. And we toured them around the country. So there was a aspect of this organization in Uganda where the Lord's Resistance Army started. It moved into the Central African Republic, South Sudan and Congo. So we also had field offices and programs there.
