Ideal outcome would be that Jake had already told Sophie about the cheating and they have already worked through it on their own and I can become better friends with them and not be worried about keeping the secret. But honestly, I don't know what an ideal outcome would be.

I think I would maybe ask your boyfriend some questions like, hey, you know, has Jake cheated on Sophie since? Has Jake still cheated on Sophie? Like, if that were the case, I do think she should know. Her health could be at risk. She shouldn't be with a shitty dude stuff. I don't know. But if he's genuinely being a good guy and hasn't cheated, maybe you don't stick your foot in it.
