think that i would be in a fucking meeting with a bunch of suits like we're gonna make it seem like no you missed my point see i know what you're saying you think i did that on purpose i think you should have even if that is the truth knowing that toonji was coming in that i feel like you know toonji and who he is as an exec yeah
would hold out on that because it's a regime change.
I don't give a shit.
And they're not going to do that.
And now you're dealing with.
Logic, I'm from Queens.
Yes, that was on Kingdom Come.
Well, I just feel like Just would have... And 1500 or Nothing would have been fine.
I don't think Def Jam had to do with the creation.
For young artists now, benefits of a major...
benefits of independent because i know independent is the wave and i get it i do think some artists need majors so as someone that's been on one let's not get on the shit on the label sheet let's i'm not on this label sheet you brought it up i know i know that's the point of interview you bring things up you do bring things up benefits of a major yeah what would you say i would say the benefits of a major can you give this to my wife thank you very much i love you
Yeah, I just feel as much as I've been very much pro independent and I don't want to say anti-major because I don't think I've been an anti-major person because I think there's plenty of artists that really fucking need that.
I just think now with how fads go, it's been cool to just say be independent.
And I think there's so many fucking artists that you need to sign to a major, bro.
That's the only way it's going to work for you is if you go to an actual major label.
But the back end of that is I wouldn't say a major is a bank per se.
