The climate was completely different.
The air smelled incredible.
My dad was bragging about the air, even in Manila.
He's like, you just wait until you get to Sydney.
The air smells amazing.
What, have you cleaned or fresh or what was special about it?
Just clean.
Just not pollution.
Because especially in the 90s, Manila was extremely polluted.
But Australia was the absolute opposite of that.
The sky was bluer.
I don't know why, but it's like the saturation was turned right up.
There were trees everywhere, which was incredible.
There was a lot to adjust to.
There was a lot to wrap my head around.
And I think I was just overwhelmed by how beautiful it was.

So I went first to Croydon Park Public School.
I did year four there.
