And at the same time, ironically, to strengthen my posture, everyone did that like COVID, like getting fit regime, right?
We either did that or the opposite.
I did the get fit routine.
And...
As I did with my work, I overdid it with that too.
So it was a combination of repetitive strain from working, from painting, and just going ballistic at the gym.
And it started out as muscular strain.
And I thought, whatever, I'll just, you know...
use one of these spiky balls and tenderize the crap out of myself because I really was treating myself like a piece of meat.
I had very little respect for my physical well-being.
I was just using it as a tool.
I was using it as a vehicle to get me where I needed to go.
So there was very little self-love at the time.
And then what really tipped the scales was
One night in early September, I woke up and my arm was on fire.
It was like the worst pins and needles.
It was like my arm wasn't there.
It was just completely numb.
And I panicked, obviously, and it happened every single night.
