So what we are begging the government for is clarity.
And what we're saying is, we're trying to get the word out that we are all open for business.

And what we would love is for the government to put this register in place, leave it in place for a period of 18 to 24 months
And then at the end of that period, then they could look at what compliance because they would have the correct figures.
At the moment, they're using data scraped figures and they're looking and they're saying, wow, I'm daft.
There's only 10 houses available, but there's 70 houses available for short term letting in this particular area.
