And more than that, and I've said this before, I think others around the world are looking at how other authoritarian and ethno-nationalist regimes are looking at what's happening in the West Bank.
admiringly, you know, figures like Millet in Argentina, maybe Bardella in France.
There's sort of underground, international underground, I mean not underground, but there's this sort of community kind of in the vanguard of Trump as well, who sort of, and I think, you know, to the broader point, I think they see Islam generally as a threat.
I think that's where
That's how they would try and explain what they were doing.
They would say like, well, we're just trying to protect ourselves.
And so there's a sympathetic international constituency in the West for what is happening in the West Bank.
And in the end, you know, disappointingly, even the regimes in the Middle East, from what I see, don't seem massively invested in
the preservation of a kind of rule of law and basic civil rights.
And those agencies that are attempting to police what's happening, like the ICJ or the UN, are just increasingly being marginalized and there's an effort to discredit them.

Hello and welcome to the final episode of this series of the Louis Theroux podcast.
Today I'm joined by actress and Bridgerton superstar, Simone Ashley.
Bridgerton is, of course, the Netflix mega hit, the fourth season of which came out earlier this year, in which Simone plays Kate Sharma, the sharp-witted older sister of the diamond of the season.
That will mean something to Bridgerton fans.
Her love interest, Anthony Bridgerton, is played by Jonathan Bailey, Johnny to his friends.
We talk about that in the chat.
And for me, this was an opportunity...
not just to talk to a talented young actress, but also to dig deep into a series that, to be honest with you, I'd never seen before.
