I've never told anyone this, but first up, this story takes place on Christmas Day a couple of years ago.
The weather was damp and depressing, but the Christmas spirit was in full swing.
I'd spent Christmas Eve at my boyfriend's house.
In the morning, we opened presents there, had some brekkie with a side of alcohol, of course, and then headed back to my mum's house for dinner.
Now, I'm not sure how anyone else is on Christmas Day, but I practically starve myself the whole day to ensure I can eat all of my warm, juicy dinner.
I do that.
Oh, me too.
Finally, my mum called out, dinner's ready.
