But what's been happening with Luke and Mel is crazy.

So...

Luke was late to the wedding so when he arrived Mel was at the altar so obviously that's not going to look good it's not going to go well like I get that but he was late because he forgot the rings and he had to turn back he wasn't late because he didn't care he apologized straight away his sisters kind of apologized on his behalf they all you know apologized but she really held on to it straight away she kind of didn't really give him any breathing room and then she didn't warm up at all for the first while like for the entire honeymoon and

and she was really cold with him and it was only when they went for the first group dinner that the other people were like you know maybe give him a chance and like he's a really good looking guy he seems really charming he seems really good looking and like I she says he's not her type because he's not blonde but like you know come on give him give him a

chance and like that is usually what we see is that these people go in and even if the person doesn't seem like they're their type they know that they've been matched by experts that's a whole premise of the show so they decide well the experts must have seen something so let's at least give it a go whereas Mel has just shut down from the very very beginning and you could see him being really hurt by it and at that first dinner party when the girls were kind of like maybe give him a chance and she decides she's gonna maybe give him a chance you know that's happening and then he's seeing how warm she is with everyone else and

And how contrasting that is with the way she's been with him.

And then he obviously gets a bit pissed off about it because he's like, you know, you have been horrible to me now for however long it is.

Very hard to know in these shows what the actual timeframe is.

And like, I can completely see where he's coming from.

I can understand why he's hurt.

And then she kind of turns it around on him and is like, oh, now you're being really cold with me.

And I know what that feels like because I was cold with you at the start.

And it's like, well, yeah, because he's hurt.

You have hurt him.

And like in the most recent episode I watched, she's like upset because his sisters have left some unkind comments on social media.

And, you know, he basically says he was really upset when he found that out that he didn't ask them to do that.

But she kind of uses that an excuse to put him back in the doghouse.

And I just like really, that's got to end soon.

I wouldn't be surprised if you're ahead of me, I wouldn't be surprised if that's already over.
