And it's kind of like, so like, it's crazy that that it happened.
It's crazy that it was in the parade in the first place that nobody was like, at some stage, you know, I don't know how these parades work.
But even on the day that somebody wasn't like,
hang on, no, like we can't do this.
That's crazy.
I can kind of slightly forgive the teenage boys to a certain extent.
They're teenagers.
Obviously, their frontal lobe hasn't fully developed.
So I'll allow a little bit of leeway there.
But for the father to be defending it is absolutely bananas.
You're an adult.
And the other side of them being teenage boys is that
It just betrays what a problem we have when it comes to young men's attitudes to sex, sexual assault, and rape.
Like, to not know that that would be a problem is really frightening.
Because it just shows a lack of seriousness when it comes to these kinds of abuses.
Nobody would be miming that in a parade.
Yeah, because, you know, there were definitely people in attendance at that parade who've been sexually assaulted because unfortunately loads of us get sexually assaulted in the course of our lifetime.
So even if you're not mimicking their sexual assault, you're still making fun of sexual assault.

They had done it as pure fun and they just didn't have enough cop on to realize it would offend people.
