Was he doing okay?
Was everything okay?
Is everything okay?
I wasn't very mentally well, to be honest, at the time.
And then I remember like a year in picking up a book that I had in my house where someone had written in to think it was like Dr. Sears or whatever, some famous baby doctor person, parenting doctor type person.
And the person was like, you know, my baby lives in like a very tight routine.
Like bedtime is the same every day and he eats the same every day and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
And he was like, my friend's baby, like it's all just very casual and there's no routine at all.
And she just kind of, you know, goes with every day as it comes.
And she was like, which way is right?
And the response was like, if your baby is laughing and healthy, you're doing it right.
Like there's no right answer.
And I remember being like, why did I read this a year ago?
I was so obsessed with like doing everything right.
And I think, yeah, if your baby's happy, you're doing you're doing everything right.
Well, that's progress.
Some people don't know how to do that until they actually have their own baby.
I'm pretty sure Gordon wasn't that confident until we had our own kids.
But even now, like, you know, my sister just had a baby like a week and a half ago and she's so teeny tiny.
And like, I've held a lot of babies in my time and I've always been quite confident about holding babies.
