Yeah, I think you're exactly right.

There is a new addition to the White Lotus.

Well, there was an exit from the White Lotus and now there's a new addition to the new season of the White Lotus.

This is kind of dramatic, wasn't it?

I mean, it's kind of giving like...

So Laura Dern and Mike White have worked together a lot.

Like they worked together on a film in 2007 called Year of the Dog, which was written and directed by Mike White starring Laura Dern.

They also worked together on Enlightened, which was a HBO series that aired for three series, which they created together and Laura Dern starred in.

So they're obviously friends.

And it is giving, like he got to set, you know, started working with Helena Bonham Carter.

It wasn't working.

And he was like, I'm just going to call my friend.

Let's just say my friend, which has got to be like, I'd loved, I will never get it, but I'd love to hear Helena Bonham Carter is, you know,

yeah like what happened here did they just not gel did they not get on did she not like the character like because what they've the their kind of reports say HBO said it had become apparent that the character created by White for Carter did not align once on set so the character like what does that mean that was strange phrasing yeah that was strange and I was wondering something has happened here
