And everybody's really devastated about this.
And there have been some parallels drawn.
People have been like, well, you know, they want to give us the giant.
You can't have fun outside, but you can have a giant.
That's a good idea.
I mean, we've talked about, yeah, that's a good idea.
I like that.
We've talked about Drury Street before.
Just to flag, we talked about the, you know, the concerns of some of the businesses there who seem to be quite reasoned in their kind of conversation around the challenges that the, you know, the massive crowds can create on sunny days in the summer.
And, you know, I do feel for the small businesses who need to operate there.
And but also it just all is such evidence of the complete and total lack of infrastructure for people to socialize in Dublin these days, and particularly younger people who are being forced to live with their parents for longer and longer and longer, you know, they don't have their own apartments to hang out in.
Sorry, say again?
No, and look, the reality is we shouldn't have to rely on one small street to be the center of social life, like outdoor socialism.
Socialism?
Socializing.
Okay, just before we wrap up, this is kind of a PSA that I thought was worth getting out there.
Basically, the public is being urged not to feed birds in their gardens between this month and October.
And I think this is just worth saying it's for the birds own good, right, Carl?
I feel like this is not the first time in the last week I've sung that song I don't know what's going on in my life well I'll tell you what's going on in my life dead animals are being left outside my front door that's what's going on one of the cats in the neighborhood I think has taken a shine to me and has decided to bring me presents because first it was a tiny mouse and then I've had two birds in the last three days
maybe it's a good omen you know well they they apparently this is the thing that cats they bring you it's they think they're bringing you a present yeah i've never had i've never sort of seen this behavior up close oh it's it's very real it's a thing it's a thing um but i'm a i think the technical term is chicken shit and i absolutely cannot handle it at all and so and like in my previous life i would have made gordon handle all of these things
