Is it to do with his talent?
Is it that he's so talented that we can just ignore the situation?
I don't know.
It's really hard.
Like we've seen...
lots of really moving witness or sorry um victim testimony from people who say that they were abused by michael jackson we've seen people on camera talking about it and i remember when the leaving neverland documentary came out louis through tweeted if you can't see that michael jackson was a pedophile after watching dan reid's film you were being willfully blind and if you were campaigning against it you were actively colluding in the silencing of victims and
And so it does feel like we are just kind of erasing that or something or like the world seems happy to erase it.
Like, I think that Michael Jackson was obviously a very complicated person.
I think he was very damaged by the way he was raised and the world he grew up in.
There's no doubt about that.
But still to erase the kind of damage that people claim he did to them is really tough.
I do think it's complicated.
I don't think it's black and white.
I do think, though, there's a difference between, say, Billie Jean coming on the radio and you bopping along to it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then going to see a film that celebrates him and erases any of these allegations.
Do you know what I mean?
Like, that, to me, is a tough one to kind of... Like, I think if the film...
I don't know it just seems strange to me that it doesn't seem to be the allegations don't seem to be involved in the conversation at all.
I haven't seen the film by the way.
