So they want fruit four days a week on the menu, Monday to Thursday, say, for example, and a sweet treat one day a week.
We weren't just giving them an apple or a banana each day.
We were trying to be quite creative and melon and pineapple to try and encourage them.
But that was a big sort of contributing factor to the drop in meal numbers.
And secondly, the reduction in cheese.
Our belief is that we want to continue to add to our menus, not take away.
Cheese is the prime example.
We know there's calcium deficiency in children in the UK.
And now the new food standards are reducing the amount of cheese that we can give children.
I know that cheese has got fat in it, but you're tackling one issue and you're creating another because we're taking away the best opportunity we have to get more calcium into these children.
Firstly, I would decide as a government what's more important at the moment.
Is it feeding children healthy meals or is it feeding children?
We're in a cost of living crisis.
It's apparent.
So the two things.
Number one, make the meals universal in primary schools.
Then every company like me can say...
We're secure here.
We can really lean into this.
We can really get on board.
