Man, they probably received a mail there and was like, hey, we received mail from the UK.
That's what I'm picturing.
You see those stories always on the news of people squatting and they can't kick them out?
That's it.
that's like the main step you got to do is once you get mail oh yeah you just say to california it's hard to get your ass legally about it every time i see that i get so infuriated because i could just picture myself as being the landlord and just how mad you would be having to fucking deal with these bums just like i don't understand how at some point how do you not just pay some goons to just show up and just
Oh no, that's what you do.
Get busy.
I done seen, it's a true story.
You know exactly what I'm talking about.
That's crazy.
Home owners.
I got a homie from back in the day in New York, this BMX dude, and every time I see him, he'll hit me up on Instagram once in a while, and he's just telling me about being a squatter in New York and just asking me about those squatting laws in L.A., and I'm just kind of like... It's such a weird moment because it's like, bro, like...
I own a house.
Like, I'm not really, like, thinking about, like, how I could go squat in somebody else's house and, like, just post up there and shit.
But, like, that's his life.
Like, he's been doing this for years.
Like, I don't think he ever really pays rent.
He just finds cribs and squats in them and at some point kind of takes over and makes it nicer.
You should tell him, you should tell your homie that Los Angeles has some of the most forgiving squatters' rights and most lenient towards them of any place in the country.
That's a fact.
